I split the tuber from this dahlia. It's such a vigorous variety. No wonder it's my number one favourite. I was able to give away a few lovely plants which made me very happy. 😊 If you want to see how I split it I pinned the reel to the top here on my page.

Sadly I seem to have lost this beautiful dahlia over the winter. Still no sign of shoots. I leave it in the ground every year with no problems but this winter I think the rain got the better of it.

Dahlias are becoming a bit of an obsession. In year 1 I grew 6 varieties. Last year it was 40 and I'm adding another 15 varieties this season. So far I have planted 80 tubers and plants out. Where the rest will go is a problem for another day...☺️ Anyone else have the same problem?
