🌲Tree Height reduction and shape🌲

Great day in the sun (finally) reducing this tree down around 30% to stop it from getting too high, then re-shaping some limbs that were sticking out.

Even managed to get some speed line work done to make it easier for the ground workers! Anything to help reduce the effort dragging those heavy branches😅.

With help from our largest set of ladders and a climber for the middle parts, we managed to reduce this trees crown enough to allow more healthy growth whilst maintaining a rounded shape

❄️ Winter tree cutting ❄️

Now is a great time to have any problematic trees pruned, felled or shaped as cutting during dormant periods encourages healthier growth later in the year!

Here shows a job competed on leek road over the last few days.

The lime tree was suffering from a decaying fungus which eventually would cause a whole tree failure so was unsafe to leave.

We removed the tree down to as low as possible and cleared all the waste.

A lime sapling will also be placed at the front of the property as a replacement!

Major clear out at a property in Biddulph!

All along the broken fence was an assortment of laurel, ash, ivy and hawthorn trees/bushes that needed removing to clear space around the garden.

We worked by removing all the branches and logs, then chipped all the tree waste.

The bark was given to a local allotment for community use and also a local farm.
