Another dated worktop now looking classy with a butchers block vinyl wrap. Kickboards were looking a bit tired too so covered them in the same to match the tops and look really well. Saved a small fortune on having the tops replaced, no disruption, no mess and customer was back in the kitchen a few hours after. It's a win win.

Managed to get this kitchen done between being ill, agreeing to work away and family illnesses so took all my effort to get it right. Anyway... Enough excuses.

So this customer has gone from a dated pale oak set of units to a lovely middle grey. And worktop from a speckled black to a white and grey marble that compliments the units perfectly.

All materials I use and hard-wearing and long lasting, non of this cheap DC fix rubbish that some companies are using for customers which will need re doing in a few months.

Rant time

I've never had hours that I work by, some companies say they will only deal with messages / quotes between say 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday, I've always tried be a bit more flexible, but, one thing that's not acceptable is messaging me at 3am on a Sunday mornin. That's just disrespectful and rude. I do have a life and a family outside of my work. It's just not on at all. This is now the 3rd person in so many weeks that has done this. Moving forward if you do this you will just be straight blocked. I'm sure people can understand the frustration of being woken up at this hour.

So here we have. A rental property that a landlord wanted sorting. Painted a dark grey with very worn black worktops. Brightened up with a satin white for the cupboards and then a beautiful butchers block for the worktops. Top job. Sometimes it's the little details like scraping off the paint marks on the insides that make the difference.

Refurb done in sandbach. Customers doors were peeling and looking a bit tired and dated. She didn't want pay 15k+ for. A new kitchen... So I got to work..... Doors were stripped and sanded and primed with 3m primer. Then wrapped in a satin white. Worktops were sanded, scraped and also primed around the edges and joins and wrapped in a beautiful butchers block vinyl.

We can all see it's quite the transformation. Customer happy. Kitchen fresh and bright. Happy days.
