Happy Bank Holiday Sunday 😁

It’s been a long time since we posted, so we thought we should give you all a little update.

Life has been really busy, and we have been enjoying the summer……it doesn’t last long, as you all know, so we have been cramming everything in, and also hibernating during the really hot times 🥵
Chimneys have been coming & going, and we need to sort through the photos, to show you guys what we have been up to 😘

Anyway, I hate to say it in August, but, Christmas is just around the corner. If you are thinking of buying a chimney for someone as a Christmas gift, you will need to get your orders in earlier this year. Last year, we had them in the house, and were painting right up to a few days before Christmas. We aren’t going to be doing that this year, and will probably finish a week or so into December. We will of course keep you posted, but the sooner you get your order in, the more likely it is that we can accept, and get your order done in time.

Has everyone enjoyed the lovely weather today? We certainly have!
We had a few hours spare, so spent some time working on the ‘project’…..it will from now be known as the ‘Tragic Chimney’ 🤪

We just wanted to give you all a bit of advice……if you do have a chimney pot in your home or garden, and decide to re-paint it…..please, please, please strip the old paint off, before painting it. Layers & layers of old paint will look ugly, and is just near on impossible to get off again!
And sadly, for the amount of hours needed to do it, we won’t be able to do the job for you.

Please do your best to look after them…..some of these pots have been around for 100+ years…….tragic chimney included……and they deserve to be looked after.

We look forward to showing you the end result……whenever that may be 😂

Is everyone fed up with this bizarre weather? We certainly are! We want to get those paint brushes out, but it’s just not happening at the minute!
Anyway, we are on the look out for some milk churns. You know, the proper, old style, big ones. If you happen to have one that you want to sell, or if you know where we can get hold of some (the condition isn’t really important) then can you send us a little message. 🐄 😁

Happy Springtime Everyone 😃

It’s officially…..spring finally sprung yesterday, and to say we are happy about it would be an understatement (although we were very disappointed to wake up to frost this morning 🥶)

It’s time to start thinking about getting the garden ready…..get the jet wash out to clean down the furniture and patio, re-arrange those pots in preparation for planting, cut back all of last years old growth off the plants, and make space for a lovely chimney pot planter 😝

Happy Saturday Everyone 🤗

Sorry we have been quiet recently……we haven’t been feeling great, and the weather has been rubbish, which has meant we haven’t been feeling the love ☹️
But, we are back, and ready to make a start on some more fabulous chimneys!

We are still waiting on a few photos of chimneys in situ, that were given as Christmas presents, and once we have those, we will post them to give you some inspiration.

The octagonal pot (on the left) measures 48cm tall. The canon pot (on the right) measures 63cm tall.

2021 was the year we started our little business, as we found a little hobby that brought us so much joy, we decided to share the end products with you all.
We are ready to welcome 2022 with open arms, and hope that the winter quickly turns into spring, when we can get back out in the garden.
