Fertile khaki Campell Cross Aylesbury Duck eggs box of 6. This is the embryo now starting to develop. If these are showing no signs of life after 1-2 weeks I usually remove them from the clutch leaving just the good eggs left.

A busy morning down the allotment after the bank holiday weekend.

That’s another 7 boxes of eggs ready to be sent as far as the Isle of Wight and Durham for people to incubate and hatch out them selves.

Fingers crossed they arrive safe and sound for you.

Managed to gather together all the shelving we have and fixed them all to the outside of the poly tunnel today ready to harden off all the plants and have them on show for people to view when it’s time to sell on.

So after a tasty breakfast made with the eggs off the allotment we made a start on planting a few seeds.

So we now have Tomatoes, Cucumbers Broad Beans, Cauliflower and leeks in.

We still waiting for the seed potatoes to chit a little bit more before they go outside and we just waiting on a few runner beans and sweet pepper seeds to come through the post.

Going get a few sunflowers sown shortly and then I think we’re nearly full in there then until we can get things outside.

Well we have 12 good eggs 🥚 in our incubator with about a week left before they’re due to hatch 🐣 . The ducklings in the picture are of last years duckings we hatched. All being well these ducklings will be ready for their new homes for Easter.

You can collect from our allotment in Adderley Green for £10 each unsexed or we can deliver in the local area for fuel money.

If you would like to put your name down you can to be first in the queue.

We also sell our fertile eggs for you to incubate yourself at home for £10 per half a dozen box. These can be posted out to you for £3.85 or you can collect.
