Labourer Wanted

Ashco Groundwork Contractors is looking for a reliable labourer to join the team on a range of groundwork and landscaping projects.

Duties will include:
• Assisting with groundwork and drainage
• Site clearances
• Loading/unloading materials
• General labouring duties
• Keeping site tidy and safe

Requirements:
• Hard working and reliable
• Able to work as part of a team
• Cis registered preferred but not essential
• Experience in groundwork/construction is a bonus
• have own transport

Work based around Stoke-on-Trent & surrounding areas.

After the client received a letter advising they had a water leak, we attended site and suggested replacing the old lead mains water feed with a new MDPE supply line. 💧

Works included:
✔️ Excavation to expose existing services
✔️ Removal of old lead water feed
✔️ Installation of new MDPE mains pipe

✔️ Full reinstatement and tidy finish

Replacing old lead pipework not only resolves leaks but also improves reliability water flow and brings the supply up to modern standards.

We’ve recently carried out a full yard extension to create more usable space for our client. This involved moving the perimeter fence and carefully replanting the existing trees to keep the space looking clean and natural

We installed a terram membrane brought in 90 tonnes of MOT Type 1 and compacted it in layers to form a strong reliable base.

The concrete has now been poured and the area is fully transformed — solid durable and ready for use 👌
