Have you got that substantial garden that needs the touch of a professional?

Someone that understands planting & shrubbery?

With all the right kit for hedge cutting, trimming, mowing, complete garden care?

A gardener that's investing in new kit, ride on lawnmower, double bladed mowers to tackle the biggest lawns?

I work on private gardens that need a 12 monthly service, into acres, woodland, mature gardens, with several different areas.

They're managed weekly and fortnightly.

Do you have a similar garden where you need a trusted professional gardener to take the management over.

Please get in touch.

(I'm looking to take someone on and start building a solid team.

You don't need to be a gardener, ill teach you everything you need, you just need the right attitude and want to help me build this premium service).

Good morning.

I've had to give up good customers recently and to those people I am sorry.

I've had to turn away people looking for a gardener, I'm sorry.

I'm looking for a hand, initially one day per week and this could be any day, to get used to my existing customer base and what is expected.

These are substantial properties, professionals who want a top notch service and that's what they're getting - I need to bring someone on board who has an eye for gardening, who wants to get stuck in.

This is all weather, all day gardens.

No set do this or that. If it's raining there's plenty to be getting on with, weeding, borders, cutting back.

There's some sizeable lawns to mow.

Work on the chipper, scarifying, aerating lawns.

Massive investment going into the business to move it forward.

If you want a fag every 5 minutes or can't get out of bed this isn't for you.

This is hard work gardening, it isn't landscaping, it's grafting.

I'm growing a phenomenal business, with a solid, high end base of great customers.

This is going to be a multi van operation, initially working with me and then as we grow responsibility will come to look after customers on your own, run a van and when it can be split again be responsible for another worker.

If you want to help me move the business forward and get stuck in this is for you.

Year round work.

The brakes have been put on the business because I physically can't do any more, I don't want to turn people away.

This will be going onto Uttoxeter online on Thursday.

You need to be a driver who can get to Tean or Kingsley for 7 in the mornings.

Is this you get in touch?

Sometimes it's just an absolute pleasure to be at 'work'.

On the surface a very lovely mid size lawn....

But what's underneath?

Full scarification and aeration took out a 1 tonne bag filled with moss and dead grass.

Let your lawn breathe.

Lawn care isn't just about cutting the grass.

Last week was the video of the lawns and I should have took it then.

Daffodils have turned now and are starting to die.

I'd got the sun and full bloom last week - never mind.

This video does a pretty good job showing the cuts.

Lot of trees planted through the main lawn and I'm still figuring out the route around them to keep the stripes.

From overgrown and full of brambles to presentable.

A 'nothing' area that was on the drive into this property and customers house.

Needed tidying up, so a full hedge trim, to get through the thick brambles and then a blast with the brushcutter to level & mulch it.

There's some more to do a little bit further up the drive.

Placed some large stones, as a feature, went into the customers woodland, pulled out some shrubs, planted them up, summer bulbs in front of each stone and 'hey presto'.

It's not landscaping but it's a lot tidier than it was and for stones and shrubbery the cost was zero.

Everything was right today.........

Blue sky, sunshine and warm, warm, warm.

Tough lawns these.

Lot of thatch and moss in them.

Second cut on the 1st and 2nd lawns and on the 3rd lawn a low first cut because it was dry enough.

Lots and lots of strimming round the edges and clearing 2 sets of steps.

Beautiful mature garden today.

Working into the 2nd year with this garden and very nice couple, busy in their professional lives & wanted a gardener that cares.

This garden is an absolute stunner, of mature trees and shrubbery.

A pleasure to work in.

No jacket today and enjoying that clear blue sky and sunshine.

A very sizeable garden in Blythe Bridge.

Weekly visits all the way through last year & the winter have allowed this garden to be brought back from 'bramble town' and overgrown.

Getting to the point where it's becoming landscaping, I keep finding bits and bobs to add structure.

4 metre lengths of 4 by 2 to place as raised beds.

All brambles dug out, roots of Dock and nettles cleared and I've started moving soil down to the lowest point and the structure at that end will be finished next week.

Mature Hawthorn staying in, top of the bank will be levelled.

Privacy is a necessity at this address and some work and planting is a work in progress.

There was a weak corner where someone had cut through chainlink.

Now there's barb wire on the other side of this wooden fence & Hawthorn planted in front of it.

It's not a fence but it does the job, is secure, can be stained to blend in and creates a 3 barrier solution, barb wire, fence and Hawthorn. A standard panel wouldn't have been enough and this was to hand.

You'll not see it in a couple of years as the hedging grows.

Enjoy getting through that!

Try working round Daffs with size 12 feet, nightmare.

A continuation of the Caucasica Laurel hedge planted a couple of weeks ago @ Gorsty Hill.

Into the 2nd year with this customer, great, trusting relationship and plenty to get stuck into.

About an acre here, give or take of established cottage garden and the new paddock/pasture.

From a plain field to where it is now is incredible.

I won't mention names but they've put a massive amount of prep into this, with topsoil, seeding and planting fruit trees.

Allowing management, tidying up, cutting back of the cottage garden, working on the edges, taking planting that had seeded itself and moving down here.

Caucasica Laurels moved a fortnight ago and Rhodies, Crocosmia, Lilac, hollies and others down in the bottom corner.

3 Buddleia cuttings waiting to go in and with the Crocosmia will add a real splash of colour.

Today was a good day of work, sunshine but a biting wind
