these colourful flowers are beginning to make CAFAG at The Whitfield Valley Centre
Over the course of spring I’ve been allowing certain areas of grass to grow longer to help encourage pollinators such as bees and butterflies and create more natural wildflower spaces around the site.
Although May has been colder than expected, the recent warmer weather is now helping our dedicated wildflower patches begin to flourish.
Featured here are Pot Marigolds, alongside patches of Forget-Me-Nots, Daisies, Buttercups, and Bluebells still hanging in there amongst the longer grass.
It’s great to see the grounds slowly coming to life with more colour, movement, and biodiversity. 🐝🦋
