Hi everyone
Following the various health issues, the latest being a DVT that has caused serious damage to lower veins in my leg, resulting in post thrombotic syndrome, it’s become clear that I can’t physically do the job any longer.
I’m retiring from the business and I’ll be selling off remaining stock and workshop machines.
I will however, continue ad hoc making of a variety of items that can include single gates if people want them from a much smaller setup in the same street that I currently am sited.
It’s just going to be a sideline, a hobby if you like on a supply only basis.
I’ve had a very good 14 years running the business and I am extremely grateful for the support given to by my family, my friends, ex colleagues and of course loyal customers.
It’s not the end but it’s a sensible big step down.
There will be some decent stock and good quality machines for sale in a short while but for now, thanks for reading

Gate and panel for lovely customers in Trentham. The old one was about done so we’ve put all new posts in with a T&G gate and panel secured with a keyed throw lock.
Customer asked of 6” gap under the gate to allow elderly cat access as the gate and panel are nearl 7’ high

Call it last of the big gates. These were lovely supplied double swan neck gates from EFC with 7” posts. Gates were 10 ft wide and overall 7 ft high. We added a long keyed throw lock and heavy duty 600 hooks and bands.
Cabin hooks for gate tie back.
Heavy and mauling work for me and big G who is now 70
Time is time on these, neither of us are able to keep doing these if we’re honest.
Standard double gates are still fine
Home now for a shower and a beer 😂

Nice job finished in Trentham. It’s a double sided t&g gate and panel to give a nice finish to a new patio seating area, complete with double keyed lock. I like suggesting these double sided gates occasionally when the job suits them.
Only issue is lifting the thing as there is nothing to grip onto and its g***d dropping heavy 😂

Set of featheredge doubles on 6” posts and a small bespoke panel around the back to provide privacy for the customer where next door have removed a shed leaving a gap in the hedge.
Worked out well 😊

Lovely customer in Trentham wanted a replacement gate for the wrought iron one to give privacy around the brick archway. Gate made and hung to fill the rear of the archway to give maximum access width.
Double keyed throw lock fitted also.

The customer makes natural doggie treats and came out with a bag for Angus who absolutely loves them. What a kind gesture.
We will be buying his treats from her again. I can highly recommend 😊

Westbury Park for 2 T&G gates either side of the house.
6 ft side gate, angled post cut on the table saw to produce a perfect fit and a lower bolt for the elderly customer.
On the other side a 4 ft gate with sunken post and hanging post notched around the waste pipe with hinges higher to accommodate this.
Lovely customer who is very pleased good end to a long week 😊
