I'm still making in the background…

This was a recent commission from a returning customer, created to pair with another beautiful Moorcroft lamp base.

I really enjoyed making this one. There’s something in the process that feels a bit like working with a willow canopy — shaping light so it softens, filters and settles into the space rather than sitting sharply in it.

Our two-day dressmaking course runs on:

This is a supported learning course where you can bring your own pattern and fabric(although we've plenty in store to choose from😉). You'll be guided through the dressmaking process — from understanding the pattern to construction and fitting.

When your youngest asks for a handmade waistcoat, selects the fabrics and buttons - and you finally realise there is another maximalist in the house!! Almost finished this self drafted pattern, burrito method learned.
