Tomorrow the big event finally begins, and we cannot wait! In fact, we are so excited that we have even organized a pre-weekend gathering for any and all to attend. The Woodturning Weekender is one of the friendliest events you’ll attend. There are no cliques, no groups and no egos. When the turning finishes on Saturday, it’s time for our evening extravaganza! Your evening meal ticket includes a three-course meal and there will be a bar available too. Better yet, the meal is taking place at the Heywood Civic Centre as well, so there’s no travelling involved! We have included the menu above for you! EVENING MEAL TICKETS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE!!! We have also included a breakdown of all of the food that will be available over the weekend for you to purchase should you not wish to bring a packed lunch.

If you are making travel plans for next week, don't forget that we have the pre-kender coming up on the Friday evening at the Birch Hotel 6:00pm.This is very much the icebreaker for the Weekender and is an excellent chance for everyone to come together to create some connections and networks prior to the event itself. It's important to us that the food and drink at the Weekender is reasonably priced; we're sure you hate getting ripped off for food at events as much as we do. That's why breakfast baps are priced at £4.00 and lunch wraps are just £5.00. Hot drinks start at £1.80.
There are more details on the Weekender website at www.woodturningweekender.co.uk. You can, of course, bring a packed lunch if you prefer. We hope that helps.
