Made in our workshop, then fitted on site today. A few bits still needing to be sorted, but that's for Monday. Stops, adjust stay position and change the hinges to cranked. But other than that, looks lovely.

Something a bit different to fill up the Saturdays. I'm glad it's done, I need to crack on with a tree bench that's been on the hit list for months. (Coming soon, lol)

This was a farmers trailer that needed completely restoring. From sand blasting and powder coating the chassy to all the lower frame and floor boards, the headboard and hinged sides and removable back.

I'm just waiting on two more hinge plates and the rear handle brackets, and we're good. Farmer will paint it all next. All the TnG and behind metal fixings painted before assembly.

I know this is so simple its silly, but I was loving how much use I had out of these little temporary sawhorses. Couldn't be any simpler, a piece of ply with two bits of offcuts either side as feet. I originally made them as temporary feet for the oak settle I've just completed but I then started using them as an onsite bench and loved how simple they were. Try it.....

Got my hands on the 0 offset Domiplate. Fast accurate domino referencing from the baseplate upside down. A much better way to use the domino in my opinion.

Anyone else use it?

I might end up getting the metric version offset plate with shims eventually but as they were only doing limited runs of this, I decided to get whilst I could.

Weekend work. 3.2m high, 3 meter timbers bought by mistake. En suite with crawl space/storage above. Ill be back to hang the doors and make some little shaker doors for the storage.

Customer also wanted a large double drawer unit splitting down the middle. Done! Just needs a new top of the one half and some more plinth around d the base.

Oak and painted treated timber gates in. Just need some door stops on the little gate tomorrow.

Customer really liked all the, water marks, pencil lines and chalk marks from the timber yard so wanted it kept (not my choice) we were going to wore brush them but customer wanted a more rustic look.

Overall, love them and love the black on oak look.

Customer wanted a dumb bell rack made to specific measurements using reclaimed boards to match their feature walls. I adjusted the height as I felt it was too low and lifting dumbells out would have been a pain. I also tilted the shelves for easy access. I also decided to spray the ply grey for a better look. A little capping ontop to finish it tomorrow but other than that, looks good.
