A before-and-after look at a recently completed alteration and extension project in a Warwickshire conservation area.

Working within strict limits on character and height, we secured planning approval through careful design and detailed negotiations. To maximise space, we introduced a new second floor within the roof, alongside ground and first floor extensions.

The result is a characterful home with a real “new house” feel — and the extra space our client needed.

A great start to 2026 with four new commissions confirmed, three being from word of mouth recommendations. We have been very fortunate since starting our practice in 2003, with so many clients recommending us, and coming back to us time and time again.

We have built our success around our focus on residential projects for private clients, with 100% of our work being alterations and extensions, and one-off new builds. By specialising in this sector we have been able to deliver consistent results with planning and building regulations approvals, minimising stress for our clients and standing them in good stead as they move forward to building works.

Planning approval granted for replacement dwelling in area of outstanding natural beauty. The existing property is to be demolished to make way for an individually designed cotswold stone family home on the Warwickshire / Cotswolds border. Planning consent was secured with zero objections within an eight week time frame, with our client’s dream home one step closer to reality.
