S.G. Bailey Paints Ltd started making paint in Stroud in 1896. Richard Townsend has run the company since 1989 and has considerable technical expertise in paint specifications, suitability, formulations and manufacturing.
The company specialises in paint finishes and associated finishing accessories. It manufactures paint for many leading engineering firms throughout the South West making all RAL and BS colours as well as bespoke tints. The shop stocks high quality trade and designer decorative ranges. Staff have excellent technical knowledge and are skilled paint tinters.
