KLCK very rarely send out marketing emails, we hardly contact are customers with new product lines or promotions etc, we dont really do social media.
I often contemplate on whether this is because of poor business decisions, if this is cross between personal standards with business, or if were just to behind with the times (were still old fashioned) In this day and age when everything moves and changes so quickly, its something that i battle with.
But one thing that i have never questioned is this.... KLCK ARE NOT SALES PEOPLE, We are SERVICE People.
We dont concentrate on generating sales, Which is wrong but on the right principles.
Our knowledge and expertise on locks and keys to which we listen to our customer's and provide for their requirements. Is KLCK basic standards and Whether that means
We provide just services - A key number or some product information
Giving options for you to make informed decisions
Sending you to other companies, to better suit your needs
Selling Nothing.
Now this doesnt help with profit margins or sales increases, or even guarantee business and yes we all need money to survive.
But it does show VALUE to which doesnt get shown through marketing.
The fact that truth, help and support comes first and thats for free. Our services are built around your needs which are affordable (which does not reflect in quality) and products sold are the customers needs not ours !!!
Our standards have founded our business, our reputation spread by word of mouth, our loyal customers are still here 30 years on, our customers still call us 1st because they know we are consistent and reliable, and because they have Trust.
This isnt something i want to compromise sales tactics but also doesnt fall withing modern times for getting business in when everything is so competitive......our battle continues.
