Yesterday was just another kick in the bo****ks
After the ongoing operations over the last 4 half years and despite my spine op last year
And still not resolved waiting for another 6 injections to relieve the pain
I went in to have a spot removed from my arm
But happened to mention I had a mole on my back that previously was looked at but at the time was nothing
The surgeon did not like the look of it and sent me to get it looked at more extensively.
They decided to remove it
So I had the mole removed on my back having to take away a deep area leaving me with a 3 inch scar
Two weeks ago
Yesterday I went back to consultants for results and they confirmed
It is a cancerous melanoma
All that sunbathing over the years
And working outside without sun protection
Has finally Caught up with me.

I was ignorant for all those years
Using sun lotion sparingly as I went brown very quickly. Not really thinking it would happen to me.

So now I have to go in and have a much more intense and deeper area removed
To make sure they will hopefully get all the cancer.

I’m not sure just how much more
I can take
All I can say to people is
Any mole or spot you have that appears to change or changing
Get it checked out asap. X

What can I say
The last week was the most aweful week ever
Over night stay in hospital
Turned into 9 days.
Surgeon opened me up to find my spine worse than MRI Scan showed.
Operation lasted 4 hours longer than expected8 hrs total
Fragment of bone punctured my fluid sac in my spine.
This then made the surgeon
Stop to repair damage.
I was completely out of it for days.
Going into ICU on critical list
Apart from throwing up blood
Which resulted in scan down throat to find I had a ulcer burst
From all the pain management medication I was taking.before going in.
Unfortunately I could not attend my freind Mario’s funeral.
Another koi legend gone.
Fortunately home now
With Jackie and ( Bailey the dog )
Who are reallly looking after me.
