This was a great job with more works to come from the client. A lovely Victorian room that needed a lot of care and attention to to the cornice and ceiling prepped filled and sprayed in an oil based sealer to create a new base, then finished in vinyl Matt. Frieze and Walls were cross lined with a 1700 grade paper with 3 coats of acrylic durable Matt farrow and ball rectory red the colour, painted woodwork was prepared and undercoated then finished with two coats crown white eggshell.

Lovely staircase to do, strange one as had to put a lot of bad work right from previous so called decorator. All ceilings vinyl Matt woodwork little greene paint acrylic eggshell walls cross lined and papered and previously white painted handrails brush grained in French walnut with extra pale varnish top coat. Paint colours clay mid and bronze green ( I think) little greene paint.

This is a canopy finished in johnstones storm shield exterior satin, it does dry with a softer satin finish. The mirror reflection as it’s drying is proof of being applied correctly.
