Busy few weeks gone with a holiday in between.

First job was a return to a job we had previously dug out out earlier in the year. We kept all flags that were down and made it work best we could with what we what we had. All things considered it turned out well and customer opted for a mortar finish.

Second job was changes to the sides of the house and part of the rear. Kept some flags that we took up to stick down one side and continued the aco drains through and followed the patio area that was already down with a walkway and another patio area to the other side of house. Kandla grey flags were used.

Third was a knockout for a returning customer on a new property of theres.

Just started the digging out on a small patio area , customer already has the flags so we will make it as best we can and complete by next week 👌🏻

After doing the front last year it was time for the back to be done for a returning customer. Another re-point followed ...

Few bits and bobs from the last couple of month.

From landscaping jobs to garden walls to small
Jobs consisting of areas of re-pointing, brick on edge replacements on a full house using salvaged bricks and using lime mortar. Digging out and prepping jobs in the mix too.

Final Job of the year complete. Just one more tidy up once scaffold is down. Also included some of the last few jobs.

Full house re point ✅
Garden wall re point with new pillar caps✅
Landscape job with artificial grass✅
Wall knocked down partly to make drive wider with a few new course and pillar cap back on, along with patching in block paving ✅
New fence ✅
New van (finally) ✅

Been a great year I’ve worked for great customers and I’ve worked with other great builders who are also top lads outside of work along the way, helping them with there projects whenever they needed me. And will continue to do so.

Another job complete for the Hargrave boys. They took the Old conservatory down for me to build up for it to be made into a sun room with a flat roof and lantern with a big bifold and window on too to allow plenty of light in. Levels weren’t great on existing so it was quite tricky but got there in the end. Glad with how it’s turned out 👊🏻

Busy couple of weeks. First with Rk brickwork on the rebuild of a wall that had been damaged due to big trees and roots. Re used the coping stones after we cleaned them as well.

Then a different job for a great customer. He took his old conservatory down and wanted to build up on top of what was already there to make way for a set of bifold doors and new roof with a lantern in it. Steel beams to go in once they are delivered and a bit more work to follow once steel is in place. He even got all materials and loaded out full job himself. Great hand 👊🏻

Yesterday we started another sun room extension for the Hargrave boys. Pictures to follow upon competition.

Garage re-point ✅
Full house re-point finished with verge caps on both peaks and full house water sealed. ✅

Helping with New Brickwork pillars and walls alongside the boys at Rk brickwork starting from next Monday. 👊🏻

Full front of house re point complete last week. Was in desperate need of some TLC, a very dusty job that one. Ground out, washed down and new mortar added giving it a new lease of life. Water seal added today for extra protection.

Latted fence completed on both garden walls after re-pointing of the walls was completed a week before. ✅

A front wall re-point along with brick replacements and the pillar shortened and capping stone cleaned and put back on. Then a found put in where it was just soil originally in the garden as the customer wanted to allow for a soldier course just to break the garden up a little. ✅

Re-point job started this week. I should of known it would rain as soon as it was booked in 🤷‍♂️😷

Garden wall ground out and repointed along with adding courses to existing pillars and finishing with new pillar caps. The outhouse also ground out re pointed and water sealed ✅

Front of house/garage repoint ✅

Extra courses on pillars ready for the new fence the customers put up. Looks superb 👌🏻 finished this morning with a charcoal pillar cap. ✅
