The idea began as my solution for a birthday present for the man who has everything...I'm sure we all know someone like that 🤣 What followed, has quickly turned into my dream business! Maps help us to travel, and more importantly help us to dream. I love the idea that our pin board maps will inspire new adventures. Mostly I love how maps reveal stories, personally unique and special to each of us.

They have the ability to capture the romantic, nostalgic notion of mapping out our lives, and where they take us. I’ve always loved maps (not that I’ve ever been able to read one- thank you Google maps for loyally sticking by me on long road trips 🙌) These days you’ll still most likely find me with my head buried in an atlas; permanently doodling. I really hope that I can bring you as much happiness from my illustrated maps as I get when I draw them. The current range offers you framed and un framed world pin board maps, as well as individual continents and countries. All our pin board maps are made-to-order with your unique personalised titles. The maps can then be added to, by you, with our colourful push pins to depict your own special adventures and memories📍

The finished map is only 10% of what goes into making it that in the first place. It’s a labour of love to make these pinboard maps, but I genuinely wouldn’t have it any other way 😍

PINBOARDS IN THE WILD!!! 🫶 🤩 💕

I still pinch myself every time I see one of my pinboard maps in your homes. It’s been nearly 12 years since I started LE in 2014, but that giddy feeling when someone chooses my work for their walls…It never gets old.

If you’ve already got one, please keep the photos coming! Messy walls, half-pinned, freshly opened. I love it all. It makes this feel like a community, not just a shop.

Back to reality today 🫶

I’ve been a bit quiet on here as I took some much needed time away from my studio last week. I’ve just returned from my birthday weekend in Dartmoor and my heart is so full. It was the perfect reset before a busy season ahead.

The best bits:

📍Battling the wind on Yes Tor (we made it to 3/4 before the cold defeated us!).

📍A proper Sunday roast by the fire after a long walk.

📍Bridget Jones marathons and slow birthday mornings.

📍Finally getting some sun on my face at the beach.

I still remember drawing my very first map, sitting cross-legged on the living room floor of my parents’ house. I’d only just graduated and was working a corporate job I hated, just trying to create something that I couldn’t find anywhere else.

At the time, I just wanted a way to get my travel memories out of my camera roll and onto the wall where I could actually see them.

Seeing where they’ve ended up since then is still a bit surreal for me. Whether they’re in a nursery or above a dining table, seeing them styled so beautifully in your homes is easily my favourite part of this whole thing. It’s a lovely reminder that these aren’t just orders I’m packing; they’re the start of your own stories.

Nothing beats handmade! 🫶

When you buy from my small business, you aren’t just buying a product, you are buying a piece of art that I have poured every inch of myself into. Every line drawn and every pinboard made and framed carries a bit of my heart 💕

This was a proper workout to film! 😅

It’s also a little preview of the finished (yes, I know it actually happened!) new garden studio. 🌿

Now that I’ve finally moved in, it’s time to sort through all my samples. I don’t think the photos ever do the scale justice, this XL pin board map is a beauty, but the frame weighs an absolute ton!

It was no mean feat to hold this up, but I just had to show you how stunning it looks in this spring sunshine. I honestly wish you could see this in real life to see the detail. 📍

I swore this would be the last holiday I went on without it.

11 years ago, I created my pinboard world maps because I couldn’t find one I actually liked. Now, I’m on a mission to do the same for a new travel essential for the exact same reasons.

I’m always jotting down notes on holiday, the tiny coffee shops, the funny memories, saving little tickets and photos, but they always end up in different places. I’ve searched for a way to keep them together, but everything I find is too fussy. There’s too much explanation on ‘how to use it,’ which is never great for a dyslexic brain like mine!!

I want something elegant, simple, and beautiful. Something I’ll keep forever to relive those memories.

The truth is, this project actually started 6 years ago.

I had the manufacturer and the designs ready... then 2020 hit. Travel stopped, my map sales rocketed, and I simply didn’t have the energy for a second project. How I’ve let 6 years pass is beyond me, but it has sat there annoying me on every single holiday since.

So, 2026 is the year. I’m starting again. I’m sharing the progress here for accountability…if I say it out loud, I have to do it!
