Get your mind out of the gutter… 😂

THIS is my Minky and it’s still my favourite way to clean shutters 🧼👏

Because it’s a microfibre glove, it gets right into all the little corners and makes cleaning the louvres so much easier.

Open them fully when you want access to your window, or simply adjust the louvres to control the light and privacy throughout the day.

Not every bit of glass needs a flyscreen and here’s why 👀

On these windows, we’ve only fitted flyscreens where the windows actually open. The middle section doesn’t open, so there’s absolutely no need to put one there (or make you pay for one!) 😂

Open the window, close the flyscreen, keep the bugs out and you can still close your shutters as normal 🙌

Simple, practical and you’re only paying for what you actually need 🤍

Probably one of the most asked questions every time I show our flyscreens… what about the cat?! 😂🐈

And the answer is, it depends on your cat.

Our flyscreens can absolutely act as a deterrent, but if you’ve got what I like to call a kamikaze **cat who’s determined to launch themselves through it, the mesh can potentially be pushed out of place.

So while they might help discourage your cat from heading out of an open window, they’re designed to keep flies and insects out, they’re not a pet safety screen and we wouldn’t ever tell you otherwise!

Hopefully that clears up one of your most-asked flyscreen questions 🙌

We’re looking for a friendly, confident and motivated part-time salesperson to get out on the road, meet our lovely customers and sell our made-to-measure shutters and blinds!

You don’t need sales or shutter experience, full training on all of our products will be provided. We’re looking for someone personable, self-motivated and willing to learn (and if you love interiors, home improvement or DIY, even better! 👏)

✨ Commission-based with great earning potential

✨ PART TIME - can work around school times

✨ Saturday work also available

✨ Full training provided

✨ Company vehicle may be possible

You’ll need to live within a few miles of DA4 and hold a clean driving licence.

Yes, I am dropping the C-bomb on the 1st September… CHRISTMAS 🎄😂

I know, it feels far too early. BUT if having your shutters fitted in time for Christmas is on your wishlist this year, these are the dates you need in your diary 👇

🎄 Hardwood & MDF Shutters: 18th September
🎄 UK Basswood Shutters: 23rd October
🎄 UK Composite Shutters: 20th November
🎄 Blinds: dates vary, so just ask us!

And before anyone panics… these aren’t our only options! We have other shutter and blind ranges with different lead times, so if you’re not quite ready yet, get in touch and we’ll talk you through what could work.

But if you’ve got your heart set on Hardwood or MDF… you’ve got just over two weeks 👀
