Another job on the same day! Me and my assistant were busy bees indeed 🐝

This time we were deweeding the slate areas which had become overgrown with rogue weeds, removing them from the roots. We also removed weeds from the astroturf and paving. We also helped to reshape some of the bushes that had gone a bit wild. Finally we pulled off some ivy which was strangling a beautiful hydrangea, so that the flowers could be seen in their full glory. Client was very happy, as were we. Another job completed. This time I was tasked with chopping the hedge down for a client that had grew out of control and meant pedestrians could not use the footpath. Now not only can they use the footpath but they also have cover from the higher branches if they get caught in the rain. Now that’s what I call a win win. Client was over the moon with the result as it has been concerning them for a long time.

Almost finished a project to beautify and tidy up a clients back garden. With the help of my assistant, we have removed the weeds, added new compost, planted numerous flowers, removed rogue plants, added wood chip to maintain moisture and prevent weeds, neatened the hedge at the back of the garden and scraped the moss from the concrete tiles. We have also moved the unsightly pots neatly around the back of the out building and arranged the garden ornaments around the patio so the client could see them better. We have just one more section to complete.

Here’s a little wildflower experiment I did for one of my family clients to help encourage bees whilst also maintaining a sense of order in the front garden. I think it gives a cottage vibe. There are all kinds of beautiful flowers growing from daisies to buttercups and purple low level flowers I have not seen before. What a feast for the eyes and the bees 🐝

De-weeding, planting of various flowers, repositioning existing rose bushes, adding new compost and surrounding with wood chips to help retain moisture for the new plants. Job I did earlier in the month. Client very happy. What a transformation from unwanted weeds and overgrown rose bushes to rainbows of colour to uplift the spitits. My assistant helped me on this transformation.

Hedge cutting for one of my clients. I would have cut the hedge to the same height, but the client wanted it to slope down towards the gate, so a slope is what I did! As a courtesy I also did some de-weeding. This was a job I did back in May.
