Arboriculture can be a slow process. Back in October, I pollarded this declining Elm in the hopes of healthy reactionary growth after a heavy hit. Sadly, the decline in health and this heavy hit ( pollard ) wasn’t enough to encourage suitable reactionary growth. The decision to remove the Elm completely was a slow process, the option to retain the tree was the most valuable for the garden and sometimes the best option is to act one step at a time and then see how the tree reacts. Always the best process if possible depending on the species and location. The tree was pieced down carefully to avoid the greenhouse and the stump was ground out ( thanks ) to replant another tree in its place 🏑πŸͺΎ

My participation in Swanmore’s Village Fete 2025!
Thank you to everyone who came over for a browse of the portfolio, stayed for a chat, or made something creative at the craft station!
A lot of appreciation goes to everyone who sacrificed a Saturday to help and support me setting up and running, thank you.
I look forward to hearing from new customers and my local familiars who came and said hi!
