🐈 Here's a perfect example of just how much cat hair can be hiding in a carpet...

This is AFTER the carpet had already been thoroughly pre-vacuumed. 🀯

The customer has health issues, making it difficult to keep on top of, so we gave the carpets the deep clean they deserved.

Here's just one example of the glue/adhesive removal carried out on this caravan.

The adhesive had set rock solid, as you can see in the video. This isn't something that comes out with a standard carpet clean. It takes specialist products, the correct process and plenty of patience.

We never cut corners with the products we use. There are cheaper alternatives on the market, but we'd rather invest in the very best products to give our customers the best possible results.

Along with removing multiple paint stains and other marks throughout the caravan, we saved the sales team from replacing the carpet altogether.
The end result? A carpet looking brand new again, ready for sale and its new owners.

This was probably one of the cleanest looking suites I've ever cleaned.

The home was immaculate, the suite looked fantastic, and there wasn't a mark on it. The customer simply wanted it professionally cleaned and freshened up.

Yet just look at what was extracted from the fabric. πŸ‘€

It's a great reminder that even in the cleanest homes, dust, body oils and everyday contamination gradually build up deep within our furnishings over time.

UPDATE ON YESTERDAY'S ELECTRICAL ISSUE πŸ‘‡

The repair has now been completed and the fault fully rectified.

Once the wall was opened up, it confirmed exactly what the electrician had suspected a historic cable repair from previous damage had deteriorated and eventually failed under load.

A massive thank you to Lee Pritchard at L Pritchard Electrical Services, who moved jobs around and made this his priority first thing this morning to get the customer sorted as quickly as possible. That level of service deserves recognition. πŸ‘

The photos show exactly what was found behind the wall.

This is why good tradespeople work together. No guessing, no blame, no disappearing when something unexpected happens. Just finding the problem, putting it right and making sure the customer is looked after.

That's how it should be done. πŸ‘Œ

One thing I pride myself on is that I'm not just there to clean carpets and upholstery.

When I walk into a customer's home, I treat it as if it were my own. If something isn't right, I'll do everything I can to help get it sorted.

Whether that's removing a stain, offering advice or, like yesterday, getting the right trades involved when something unexpected happens.

The clean might be what I was booked for, but my customers and their homes will always be the priority.

That's the difference between simply doing a job and genuinely caring about the people you work for.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE PLEASE READ!!

A bit of drama on today's job...

Near the end of a job, the living room socket circuit tripped. As you'd expect, my first thought was, "Have I done something here?"

Although all of my equipment is PAT tested, protected by RCDs and operated safely, I still wanted to make absolutely sure.

A huge thank you to Lee Pritchard from L Pritchard electrical services who came out promptly to fault find the issue, and to the customer for trusting me to get this investigated and rectified quickly. The customer later remembered a previous electrical issue in the exact area identified, which helped confirm the electrician's findings.

The cause was traced to a historic cable fault that had previously been drilled through and poorly repaired. The electrician has safely restored power to the lounge as a temporary measure, with the wall to be opened up and the fault permanently repaired later this week.

The reason I'm sharing this isn't to point fingers. It's because when something unexpected happens, this is the difference between a professional business and a cowboy.

I didn't pack up and disappear. I stayed, worked with the customer, arranged the right people, got answers and made sure the issue was identified correctly.

Thankfully it was confirmed that neither the equipment nor the cleaning process caused the fault, but customer reassurance and doing the right thing will always come first.

Carpets and upholstery completed, the fault was found, a repair is booked in and everyone left happy. That's how it should be done. πŸ‘Œ
