A sunny Sunday evening seems like a good time to share a bit about the brand behind these cute candles that everyone loves so much.
My name is Vicky and I founded Little bit different in 2010 to bring well made Welsh language gifts to the Welsh gift industry. Little Bit Different Candles was one of only two candle brands using the Welsh language at the time. We hoped to stand out in a sea of red plastic rubbish imported from China. LBD now supplies candles to 80 shops and top tourism destinations across Wales and proudly still promotes Welsh. It is now also a true family business with my husband getting involved in the design side and even our sixteen year old son keen to provide input. He is the person behind the Tiny dog candles! I have ensured that the candles produced are high quailty, vegan friendly and use UK oils. I love supporting other small businesses, giving them the opportunity to create their own ranges of fragrance too. My white label and bespoke services are designed with small business in mind and have to date worked with over 40 independent local and national businesses. When creative business work together magic happens. The passion for building a creative community resulted in me working with etsy to run Christmas fairs. Show casing the very best in local creative businesses. Since 2018 I have run the fairs under the name . There is never a dull moment as I am currently working on a new project to help other small businesses to build and scale, more on that coming this week.
