Customer had no heating due to water contamination in the oil tank ❌
On inspection we found:
💧 Water in the tank causing issues
⚙️ Failed oil pump
🔧 Blocked/contaminated burner components
✅ Drained contaminated oil & removed water
✅ Replaced oil pump
✅ Fitted new nozzle
✅ Full check over & recommission
Back up and running with heating restored 🔥
⚠️ Water in oil tanks is more common than you think – especially this time of year. Regular servicing can help catch it early before bigger problems occur.

This one started with absolutely nothing upstairs – no bathroom at all!
✅ First fix hot & cold pipework
✅ Brand new soil pipe & waste runs
✅ New Weyroc floor installed
✅ Full shower enclosure
✅ Traditional pedestal basin & WC
✅ Patterned feature floor tiles
All pipework run, floor strengthened and sheeted with Weyroc, then ready for tiling.
Big shout out to Nick Jones for the tiling work 🔥 the black banding and patterned floor really set this one off.
From bare room to a proper finished bathroom in just a few days 💪

Came across this old fire back boiler that had been turned off after spilling carbon monoxide ❌
After a full strip-down, clean and service, we got it burning correctly and running safely again ✅
These old appliances might look rough, but with the right checks, cleaning and adjustments, they can still be kept going safely for a bit longer.
That said… they’re nowhere near as efficient as modern boilers, so upgrading is always worth considering when the time comes.
If you’ve got an older fire or back boiler and aren’t sure if it’s safe or worth keeping, give us a shout — safety always comes first 👌

Busy week on the heating side with 2 emergency boiler jobs 💪
Both customers needed sorting ASAP to get their heating & hot water back on 🚿🔥
Job 1:
One boiler had actually come away from the wall, creating an immediately dangerous situation ⚠️
Got it isolated, made safe straight away, patched an old flue hole behind, then fitted a new Baxi boiler and got everything back up and running ✅
Job 2:
Another emergency boiler job later in the week — customer left without heating/hot water and needed it sorted quick 👊
(✅ I’ll be honest… I forgot to grab an after photo on this one 😅)
