A lovely large open Kitchen and utility decorated, using Benjamin Moore products.

After a discussion with our customer about the different quality of paints, I was so happy when they took my advice and went with Benjamin Moore. Not only is it a pleasure to work with, it also shows in the quality of the finish.

Our customer was going away on holiday for two weeks and wanted us to complete while they was away.

Simple job with a lot of ladder work, but a lot of windows and masonry area to cover.

Masonry prepped and two coats of smooth masonry paint. Windows, prepared and coated using the Johnstone's Decorating Centre flexible oil undercoat and gloss system. Wooden cladding around the side received two coats of barn paint, satin, black from Bedec: The Paint Company.

A project that was hurdle after hurdle. Rotton timber, suspected asbestos and South facing all day long 🥵

The project that should of taken 4 days from start to finish, took nearly 3 weeks to finish, but safety and doing a job properly always comes first.

After getting a speedy sample tested and getting the all clear from Swindon Asbestos Surveying LTD we was back making this gable end, front door and garage doors looking brand new.

💪 I'm back!!!!! 💪

Back to work, back to the gym and back to normal, hopefully.

14 weeks ago I underwent ACL and Meniscus Reconstruction. Long recovery and a lot of time away from work.

This week, with the help from Blink Painting and Decorating, we completed this external property. My first job back to work. Lots of ladder work and exercise for the knee.

Looking forward to getting stuck back into work, with some really exciting and big projects all booked in.

Our customer had a change of mind with a switch that was placed above the bed. The electrician placed a white cover plate but that would of looked terrible with this dark wall.

Luckily we had another solution!!

Thanks to a product from British Gypsum this repair was fixed with a few easy steps.

Gyproc Easipatch is made from strong self-adhesive metal which allows for extremely easy application. The aluminium plate is covered with a strong fibreglass mesh for the great adhesion.

A nice little spray job completed for a fellow trades man.

Customer really wanted a spray finish to this custom bench and wall panelling. They also was stuck on a product to use, but with a little expert advice, they went with Benjamin Moore scruff x Matt finish.

A large three storey hall, stairs and landing completed today.

Alot of prep work went into this one, most of the woodwork and walls was full of paint runs and dents in the paintwork.

Tiled floor protected with the Q1 floor protection for the duration of the project.

Curved ceiling on the top of the stairs was made good by sanding the ruff plastering and a light skim of easi fill.

Colours used;

Walls. Farrow and ball shadow white 282
Woodwork. Farrow and ball tanners brown 255

Panelling finished in Aqua Guard matt. Johnstone's Decorating Centre colour matched in Farrow & Ball Card Room Green no. 79.

Walls finished in Johnstone's durable matt. Colour matched in Farrow and ball, Strong White no. 2001.

Stair case, prepared and sealed with Zinsser UK BIN Primer, before finishing with Johnstone's Aqua Guard Undercoat and satin paint system.
