🏡 IT ALL STARTS WITH THE FRAME 🏡
Before the beautiful cladding, the cosy interiors, or the finishing touches you see in these photos, every single Purton Barn hut starts here: with the frame.
A shepherd's hut is only as good as what's underneath it, and we don't cut corners. Our frames are built to a genuinely higher standard than most of the industry, because a hut that's going to earn you money year after year needs to be built to last, not just built to look good on day one.
Once the frame is up, insulation is where a huge amount of quality gets decided, and it's usually invisible once the build is finished. That's exactly why we don't skimp on it. We insulate to 75mm as standard, giving you a wall buildup that genuinely competes with (and beats) anything else on the market. The result? A hut that stays warm in January and cool in July
Why does this matter so much? Because we build our huts to be let out 365 days a year, not just fair-weather glamping. Guests don't want a hut that's freezing in winter or stuffy in summer, and owners don't want a booking calendar with gaps. Getting the frame and insulation right from day one is what makes year-round letting actually possible, and actually profitable.
This is our USP in a nutshell: built to a higher standard, so you can let all year round.
Solid frame. Proper insulation. Huts that work as hard as you do. 💪
