Christmas is round the corner, Monday 22nd will be the last day to get your coal/kindling and bags of logs before we close for the new year. Will be re opening on 5th January. Still available for truck load of split logs after the 5th of January.

Its that time again.

We have been contacted by many people in the last few days with regards to tree work and fencing requirements following the storms. These have been both previous customers and new ones, but the underlying theme is many of the older ones have had "door knockers" telling them they were requested to come round and give them a price to repair fencing, remove fallen trees etc. These people are also seemingly over pricing the work. They are possibly not insured, not qualified and have no waste licenses to remove the old fencing or tree material. They are not supplying a written quotation.

Please remind all elderly friends and neighbours to get several quotations, all written not verbal, check the company details and only use people they contact and request a quote from. Not to accept someone who just turns up to either quote or offers to do the work.

We shouldn't have to be on our guard but many are taking the storms as an opportunity to rip of the vulnerable and those that have already suffered with damages.

Think we have the best teams. Teams have been out since 6am, clearing trees all day on the Rail Network and still going, The wind may have subsided but plenty to clear up still. Well done guys and thank you all.

To work as part of an established team on Network Rail Property. Ideally holding qualifications for Chainsaw/ Brush Cutters etc. Teams commencing day in Tadley, Hampshire working across southern England.

Hours of work are 06.00 - 16.00 Monday - Friday. with overtime available on a regular basis. You are paid from our depot back to our depot.

Ideal qualifications include:
Driving license
Chainsaw, brush cutter, Wood Chipper certification.

You would be subject to a
Pre-employment medical together with a Alcohol and Drug screen to be able to work on Network Rail property.

Pay rates are commensurate to training and ability.
