Well the mower has come out of hibernation at last, maybe a bit later than others, but then again I saw some contractors cutting grass right at the start of the month when the frost was still on it!

TIP OF THE WEEK
Don't scalp the lawn with the first cut, raise the blades and just top the grass, then gradually take the cutting height down each week. Cutting too short too quick weakens the grass and encourages moss
