⚔️Tamworth’s popular St George’s Day extravaganza is back for 2024 with an exciting new line-up of entertainment set to take over the Castle Grounds, with medieval-themed fun for the whole family on Saturday 20 April, from 11am – 5pm.

The FREE annual festival is one of the highlights of Tamworth Borough Council’s impressive calendar of outdoor events, drawing thousands of visitors from across the country.

The line-up will include all the festival favourites that have led to the event becoming well-known, including jousting, archery, falconry displays, a living history camp, fairground rides and children’s activities.

The boards were painted with anti-slip paint off site for all those who are wondering!

Our work to refurbish the footbridge near the Snowdome is well underway.

The bridge will be closed while we carry out the work, but it is expected to be open as normal tomorrow.
