You've been putting this off for months.
Maybe longer.

The room hasn't changed. The mood board folder has though. It's grown. Pinterest saves, screenshots from Instagram, a couple of photos from a friend's place you visited last spring.

And still, the kitchen looks the same as it did two Christmases ago.

We see this every week at the showroom. Someone walks in carrying two years of saved images on their phone, slightly apologetic about it, half expecting us to laugh.

We don't. We put the kettle on.

Then we spread your measurements across the table and start sketching. By the time the tea's gone cold, there's usually a 3D layout on the screen that finally makes sense of everything you've been collecting.

That's the bit people don't expect. Not the design itself. The relief.

Knowing what goes where. Knowing why the island won't work but the peninsula will. Knowing the fridge can move if that wall comes down.
