Well done, Team Tommy! 🏆

We have a heartwarming update about Tommy Rob’s Run: the incredible fundraising challenge organised in memory of Tommy, who passed away last year at just 178 days old. 💙

Tommy’s loving dad, Nick, and his friends recently ran 178 miles in three days to raise funds for Bristol Royal Hospital for Children patients and their families. 🏥

They set themselves an ambitious fundraising target of £50,000. We’re thrilled to share that they’ve smashed their goals, with donations now topping £87,000!

We’re incredibly proud of this team. Thank you so much to everyone who’s kindly donated and shown their support. 🫶

So it's finally here, the week the boys put their bodies and minds to the limit. It all comes down to 1 simple thing... One foot in front of the other...
Sounds simple right? Then come join us for the experience! If you are keen to come and join the boys please do reach out but we won't have our phones on us so using the trackingap below can show you the route and you can plan accordingly. There will be another post on Wednesday detailing their stops.

Day 1 - Start at 05:00 from Reading Train Station heading on a Westerly bearing to Newbury, south to Andover and then Westerly again trying to reach Devizes which will bring to an end a gruelling opening day of 120k.

Day 2 - Setting off as early as possible for another long slog, this time looking to complete at least 100k if not 110k taking them from Devizes across to Bath and then Bristol where they will be doing some media coverage with at Bristol Children's Hospital before trying to finish the day at Portishead.

Day 3 - Head for home day 🙌 starting from Portishead/Cleavdon they will be a 70 or 80k run south along the coast before getting into Taunton Rugby club for 16:00 where family and friends will meet the team to celebrate an amazing achievement.

More details will follow regarding the home coming celebrations at Taunton Rugby Club later this week also. It's not a ticketed event and anyone is welcome, we will be having a drink and drawing the raffle (tickets can still be purchased) and doing the Auction.

This Bank Holiday it's game day! Tommy's Titan will take on Ramblers FC at the home of Taunton Town FC

We have lots planned for the day, from a youth game, competitions, and much more. Pop on down gates will open around 11:00 and we will wrap up proceedings by 16:30.

We would love the sun to make an appearance but a please t dry day will suffice

It's almost time for the posting/talking to stop and the run to commence. 1 month today and the boys will be off.

They have trained, got injured, recovered and gone again. It's been one hell of a journey and the amount of money raised is absolutely incredible.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, followed us and even donated to our JG page, raffle prizes and their time to make this possible without you all this wouldn't be what it is.

With our workload forever increasing we are looking to expand our team with a labourer to become improver. Working along side the team you will learn subfloor prep and fitting experience and if you are to prove yourself there will be opportunities for training programmes at uk flooring centres.

The Route is out ladies and gents.

You have seen the 4 of us and you've heard what we plan on achieving... Well this is the route we plan on taking.

Reading Train station to Taunton rugby club

Day 1 Starting at Reading train station on Thursday 14th May we head west to Newbury down into Andover and then west again to Pewsey where we call it a day.

Day 2 Continues to take us west from Pewsey into Bath and then onto Bristol where we do a bit of a tour taking in Bristol children's hospital before finally finishing the day near ShireHampton.

Day 3 Saturday the 16th May is the day we are calling on all of our family and friends to come support us. The legs will be heavy, the mind could be broken by this point... But we want as many of you to come join the "fun" whether you can manage 5k or 50k we turn south and head for home. We are aiming to be back at Taunton rugby club for 16:00 but we know this will be the hardest day so hopefully you can join us and make it a memorable one

For those that dont want to run / can't run then do not worry you can meet us at the Rugby where we will be having a drink and a small bite to eat along drawing the raffle and revealing just how much we managed to raise.
