✨ New Bathroom Project Completed✨

We’ve just finished this extensive bathroom renovation in High Ham, and what a transformation it’s been!

This was a full-scale project that included:
🔧 All new plumbing work
🚰 New drainage system
🔥 Complete new central heating system
🧱 Structural alterations with walls removed
🎨 Full replaster throughout

We also worked alongside CJD Electrical who carried out a full rewire, installed spotlights, and fitted a dual fuel towel radiator. Extremely professional from start to finish — highly recommended, and we look forward to working together again in the future.

Love this hat made by my sister, but as you can see, turning 30 has really hit me hard... 😂

How many electricians do you know who would swap out a submersible pump? Only on a 13amp plug top, but had to changing the plumbing fittings to allow for a hosepipe connection. Love doing jobs where its slightly different to everyday electrics

Yes, electricians do use vacuum cleaners 👀 this is something I pride myself on is my tidiness, will always clean up after myself or Bob.

Today, managed to smash out 16 downlight changes, from old GU10s to new built in LED wattage and colour changing lights by JCC.

Really do love these x50s 👌💪 they speed install time up by alot which is super handy when you have a busy day ahead.

Nice little board change last week. After the family recently brought this property, they experienced some tripping and very random times, and with the board bit outdated, they made the decision to upgrade to better protection.

As I started, taking the board cover off, the cooker cable fell out of the mcb and the crimp join, obviously not a very good sign, but after testing everything with fantastic results, I came to the conclusion that the loose cooker cabling was causing the tripping. This is why an EICR or even upgrading that full tests should be carried out and inspections of accessories.

But now all back up and running with the fusebox board with RCBOs and an SPD with a full test carried out.

Always trust a fully qualified electrician who is registered, we train for many years for this and spend a lot of money to keep that training up.

Turn on the lights ✨️

39 spot lights changed throughout the property to new JCC x50s with a chrome bezel to finish it off nicely.
The joy of the x50s, they have built in LEDs, so no need to worry about replacing a bulb.
They come with wattage changing, allowing you to set the different brightness.
They also come with the 3 options of warm white, cool white, daylight, allowing you to change the colour if you ever feel like it.
Overall they are a fantastic downlight for every room of the house 👌
Whilst here, I replace all smoke alarms due to being out of date, that extra bit of safety in the home.

Plenty of projects coming up, books for April have already started and my big 30 is just around the corner 😬

With plenty of big jobs currently happening, it was nice to do a couple of little jobs.

This part of the room had no lighting and was very dark, so put a fuse spur in, chasing a cable up to the light and filling it all back in, the family can now have some light in the corner making the room brighter 👌

Whilst here, we put 2 doubles in for washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge after some very strange wiring was going on.

Also, we added a new double socket to one side of the bed as they had no outlets near by, this gives them the ease of charging phones etc without running extension leads.

Replacing a centre light to some new spots really does make the room feel bigger, even for a tall person like Bob.

The customer had me in last year to fit spots in the kitchen, they said I did such a good job, they'd like the living room done. 8 new spots, all on a dimmer, ceiling will be plastered but no worries, they simply pull out and can disconnect them with ease.

Heres what went on 2 days after Christmas.

A 3 phase board upgrade to allow for more extra ways and a new rumbler machine... yes, I had no clue what that was as well 😂 but it makes a noise, rumbles around and takes all the sharp bits if metal off some amazing bits of engineering 💪

This new 3 phase fuseboard by fusebox is amazing, it even allows for 3phase RCBOs.

This had some challenges to it, but overall, everything went well and was home by 6pm.

It isn't just domestic I can do, but also commercial and industrial 💪

Also, some news, I have booked on for my EV charger course, meaning I will soon be offering EV installs 😊❤️

Just a couple little jobs over the festive period, I'll be posting the bigger job soon 👀

Installed an outside double socket, having to chisel away at the brick work to get the socket to sit nicely. The power came off the socket inside, this now allows the customer to have power outside to the new build they are doing 👌

The double socket inside a brand new shed built by Somerton Sheds, fantastic company who build it bespoke to you. This socket gives the customer the power to charge power tools etc. 💪
