I think I may have taken cosy season a little too far 😂

Bought some new PJs and then realised I could actually match them to my candles… so obviously I had to 😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who gets ridiculously excited about new pyjamas, a candle lit and an evening at home when autumn arrives?!

Anyway… which PJ and candle combo wins? 🍂🤎

🍂 My go-to autumn candles… starting with The Old Cottage

There’s something about September that makes me want to buy a new pair of PJs, get the blankets back out and start making the house feel cosy again 😂

So I thought I’d share some of the candles I always find myself reaching for at this time of year.

First up… The Old Cottage 🤎

Warm, woody, slightly sweet and just one of those scents that feels like autumn to me. Sandalwood, cedarwood, amber and vanilla all wrapped up together.

It’s the candle I want burning when it’s getting dark earlier, the curtains are closed and I’m in those new PJs by about 7pm 😂

Anyone else use the start of autumn as an excuse for new PJs? I have to admit to buying two new pairs today! 🍂

Well… it’s raining.

That’s it. I’m calling it. 😂🍂

Summer, you were lovely, but I’m done now. I’m officially ALL IN for autumn.

I want the blankets back out, the lamps on early, cosy evenings, comfort food, oversized jumpers and absolutely no reason whatsoever to leave the house once it gets dark 😂

I know technically we’ve still got a few days of August left, but the weather has spoken as far as I’m concerned.

Autumn mode: ON. 🍂🔥

They’ve been waiting patiently all summer… 🍂🔥

Tucked away with all the autumn bits, ready for the moment when the evenings start getting a little cooler and we all begin craving that cosy feeling again.

The Fireplace is making its return on 1st September.

Warm, woody and comforting, this is one of those scents that just feels like autumn. Like the first fire of the season, darker evenings and finally having an excuse to get the blankets back out.

I can't work without music and today was the turn of the Dixie chicks. Forgot how much I like them!
