This has been a bit of an ongoing project that I finally finished.
Client has a set of stairs leading to their garden. One supporting beam had completely rotted away causing the steps to fall away dangerously!
I sourced the wood, carved the grooves out by hand and reused the steps that were still in good condition whilst measuring up and cutting the steps that needed to be replaced.
In all honesty it was my first time doing this sort of project but I think I did pretty well and, primarily, the client was happy too!

Levelling off the ground makes for easier planting and harvesting. Plus it just looks better!
The topsoil can be repurposed for other projects too.

Just a follow-up to the previous post. The flowers have bloomed nicely for the clients.
Whilst they conform to the “Yellow/Blue” motif the client asked for, those pesky dandelions will have to come out so they don’t spread and take over the patch.
With the weather being a mixture of rain and sun, this is the perfect time for weeding and maintaining the wanted growth.
