TOP TIP.......... UPVC Doors
Get a can of spray l**e, WD40 or similar, open your upvc door and spray all the moving parts down the length of the door . Try to work the l**e into the lock by moving the handle up and down. This will not only lubricate the lock but it will drive out any moisture or condensation and with the freezing weather due soon it is possible to break the mechanism if forced in freezing conditions !!
If you do break the lock or it is about to give up you know a good Locksmith to call to repair the door as i keep spares for all makes.

LOCKED IN LOO !!!
A supermarket manager called recently with a very urgent job. A young lady had managed to lock herself in the toilet whilst shopping on the way to work............. I arrived in about twenty minutes and released a very embarrassed customer in a couple of minutes.
The lock had broken internally and with the manager on one side and the young lady inside forcing the handle only made it worse.
I soon sorted the lock out and the customer left the store with a massive bunch of flowers compliments of the store.

SAFE WITH NO KEYS.........

I was recently called out by a customer who had their offices broken into. All the desks were forced open and searched and some keys were taken. The key to the safe was missing and nobody could locate a spare.
They called me out and i picked the safe open to find the contents gone !!
The intruders had emptied the safe,re-locked it and taken away the key. I rebuilt the lock to a new key combination and made two new keys to suit. So my advise is dont leave your safe keys in the premises,because they will find them.

BRAND NEW HOUSES WITH NO KEYS !!!

When all the keys were stolen to a number of show houses and the offices who do you think they called ?
Yes . that is right me !
A quiet sunday afternoon until the phone rang , then into action.
First i had to open the front doors to each show house as it was a nice day and lots of potential purchasers turned up.
Then i had to change all the locks where keys had been taken as well as three doors into the marketing suite [office].

Another happy customer and hopefully some houses sold.
£150,000 up to £320,000.

BANK NEEDS LOCKSMITH.
A local Bank needed help last week when the lock on the front door would not lock properly !! Not good for a bank !! The problem was soon rectified with a new High Security lock fitted by myself and all the money was safe as the door had three locks fitted anyway.

This is a new Bluetooth padlock from master, no need for keys just use your phone . It stores a log of its useage and can also be programmed so that it can only be opened at certain times. Ideal for a club to save giving out lots of keys or a car park etc.

Called out recently to open a locked door on the top floor of an office block. The tenants thought it led into an attic space or onto the roof ? and nobody had a key.
I opened the five lever lock to find only a tiny broom cupboard about two feet in depth.
We all had to laugh.........................
