Another Vaillant Ecotec Plus 32kw installed this week with a 10 year warranty

This was a system conversion to a combination boiler which involves removing the storage tanks in the loft and hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard

The usual additions to make everything compliant such as thermostat with optimisation, filter, shock arrestor, descaler, new gas supply, internal condensate pipe work and flushing of the system

Boiler servicing, what’s involved?

When it comes to boiler servicing, one size does not fit all!

Every service completed by us is a strip down service (some manufacturers have different intervals). Not just a basic safety check disguised as a ‘service’

This new customer had a Worcester compact with no service history. This one has a full service conducted, which included;

🔸 Burner gasket
🔸 Electrode set
🔸 Full clean down of all components
🔸 Flush through of heat exchanger
🔸 Expansion vessel recharged
🔸 Condensate trap cleaned
🔸 Rating down heating load (where applicable)
🔸 Adjusting combustion to manufacturer spec
🔸 Gas pressure check and gas rate

Certification is completed for every service and service book completed if at hand

First post in a fair while as we have been busy with routine servicing ahead of winter but managed to get this one over the line

This customer has extended their home by adding a new living room and utility. Ahead of future building work in the existing property, they wanted the boiler upgrading and relocating into the new utility

They opted for
🔸 Vaillant EcoTec Plus 32kw with 10 year warranty
🔸 Vaillant SensoComfort wireless room thermostat with weather compensation and heating rated down to 10kw
🔸 Vaillant system filter, differential bypass, descaler and shock arrestor
🔸 New gas run from the meter
🔸 All copper heating, hot and cold water pipe work in extension
🔸 Reina Colona radiators with traditional thermostatic valves in brushed nickel with matching pipe shrouds
🔸 System flushed and protected

Just the electrician to second fix the electrics and customer to finish decorating. We didn’t get chance to jump in before the plasterer on this one.
