Brief overview from a HSL refresh for a rental property in Broseley.

Not many photos taken of this area of the job as it was a quick turn around for carpets going down.

From old magnolia and yellow woodwork to farrow and balls Cornforth white and fresh satin on the woodwork. I love this colour as it looks a different shade in different lights but it’s definitely not white 🤣

Bedroom completed in St George’s for a returning client.

This room had seen better days with a few of the walls and ceiling in particular having taken a beating over the years. The walls had previously been painted in silk emulsion, so they were taken right back to a smooth surface. The ceiling was covered in water stains and cracks from bathroom leaks and moving plasterboard so lots of filling and skimming required.

New skirting and door architrave had recently been fitted so lots of initial prep was needed to get it up to standard. Lots of caulking, filling and sanding later we got this room looking back to its best.

Dulux white cotton used on the walls to give it a very light and neutral vibe. Very pleased with the end result of this one!

Kitchen and Dining room makeover in Shawbirch.

Quick turn around on this one, my clients felt that it was time for a change from the old two tone colour scheme so with some TLC on some of the woodwork and the walls having a light sand to freshen them up. These rooms were soon looking as good as new!

Egyptian Cotton for the walls in the dining room and Johnstone’s Acrylic Eggshell in forgotten garden for the kitchen. Scuff X used on the woodwork.

Bedroom complete for my clients in Wellington.

A lot of time spent on prep with this one, all the walls were fully taken back with my dustless sanding set up. The window frames were covered in old paint so fully cleaned up before any painting could commence and the woodwork was completely stripped back to bare wood to assure a high end finish was possible.

Walls finished in Johnstone’s durable matt in the colour white mist and the woodwork including the door was airless sprayed with Johnstones acrylic primer and top coated in Johnstone’s aqua guard.

Hard graft but the results speak for themselves.

First picture was taken by my clients to show the room with carpet down which really finishes it off.

Throwback to a Living room we completed in Shrewsbury last year.

Every wall had paper on in this room so it was all stripped off ready for the the plasterer to come in and skim all the walls. Once that was completed and dried out, we then got underway with getting this room back to looking it’s best.

All the walls were mist coated and then finished off in a durable Matt with a striking feature wall and a change of colour for the fireplace too.

Woodwork - Aqua Guard Brilliant White

Hall, Stairs & Landing completed in Shrewsbury.

After recently moving in and with magnolia being the previous owners chosen colour, the stair runner being a dark untreated oak and the general level of decorating being pretty poor, it was time to breathe some new life back into this HSL and help my clients put their own stamp on their new home.

Walls - White mist
Feature wall - Ancient Cloud
Ceilings - Eclipse brilliant white
Woodwork - Zinnser Bin & Aqua Guard

Overall I was very pleased with how this one turned out and more importantly so were my clients.

Nursery room completed in Shrewsbury.

For a small room there was a lot of time and effort that went into this one to get it looking ready for the arrival of my clients new baby!

From failed lining paper and glued on mirrors to sockets smothered in paint and water leaks leading to patch repairs on the artex ceiling! Not to mention having to completely skim the one wall to repair from previous damage.

Very satisfying popping back to see this one all finished up with fresh carpet down and the room all decorated to really finish it off!
