Final day here.
All walls, ceilings and woodwork complete.
I've hung a full length mirror on the landing and changed the pendant lights for new.
All done here for now.
Need to go back in a complete of weeks to change the carpet.

Day 2
I've painted the ceilings today, give all the walls a coat of speckled egg.
Gone over all the walls again with some more filler to get the wallls even smoother, I'll give everything another sanding tomorrow and second coat everything.
Also brought a new six panel door to match the rest for under the stairs, had to cut quite a bit off and strengthen it all to make it fit as they don't make the doors this small.
Back again tomorrow to finish up here.

Back to work today now my foot is getting better.
Stripped all the wallpaper off, sanded, used a tonne of filler to get the walls to a good standard.
Sanded all the walls again once the filler had gone off and give all the doors and coat of satin.
Back tomorrow.

Had my son Marshall Colhoun round today to "help me" romove our turf in the back garden.
He smashed it 👏 I'm still struggling with my foot and now a bad back aswell 😬😢
Can't thank him enough for this ❤️
Still need to remove the mound then get it levelled and compacted ready to install fake grass.
The dogs completely ruined the turf so this will help and look good all year.

As most of you know, I broke my foot so have been out of action.
It's getting better everyday although I still can't drive (hopefully trying to go for a drive around this week.)
Thank you to everyone who's been booked in and are happy for me to rearrange dates. It's very much appreciated.
As im getting about better now, ive managed to spend the day in our garden giving the deck and pergola a fresh coat of paint and added some anti slip strips to the deckbboards.
It's killed me off but very much needed to be done. I've been putting it off as I'm always busy so its been nice to get some more work done in our own garden.
Back to working as normal next week 🤞

Day four

The deck has had a second coat and is now complete.
I have weeded and cleaned the patio and path area with sodium hyperclorite.
I will be painting this whole area with specialist paint, but we need at least a couple of days with no rain, so for now im all done here.
I'll be back when the weather starts behaving itself.

Day three

The weather hasn't been on my side today, had my raincoat on and off too many times to count, but ive managed to paint the fences and planters. Then went on to painting the sleepers in a bitumen paint and finished off giving the deck a first coat.
Back tomorrow to carry on.

Back at a returning customers house this week to do some garden work.
First job was to align the patio slabs that for some reason the previous person to do work here didn't do.🤷‍♂️
The whole patio was laid with no staggered joins apart from theses small areas.
Next job was making a start on extending the decking.
Back tomorrow to carry on.
