We are now one of the largest tree nurseries in the UK and grow over 1 million container grown and bare root, fruit and ornamental trees every year for supply into garden centres, nurseries, mail order companies, commercial growers and our very own Tree Shop. The selection of trees we grow is the most exciting and inspirational, with many varieties of well-known and unusual fruit trees and an incr

edible range of stunning ornamentals. We also supply hedging, rootstocks and soft fruit. We continue to expand and develop our nursery to meet the increasing demand for the best quality trees. Most recently we have refurbished our propagation facilities and created a team dedicated to this area. By combining traditional skills, advanced nutritional understanding and modern technology we are able to produce trees to the highest standard.

Our Story

Frank P Matthews is a family business since 1901 and now in the fourth generation. We are one of the largest tree nurseries in the UK. We grow the widest range of fruit and ornamentals which we supply to garden centres, nurseries, mail order companies and commercial growers.

We are situated in the heart of the picturesque Teme Valley, Worcestershire and still use traditional propagation skills whilst embracing modern growing technologies.
