Herringbone kitchen splashback in Deeping St James.

Kitchen splashback tiles with "Arabella chalk white" tiles from

Upstands and glass splashback behind the hob were removed to make way for a clean herringbone splashback.

Tiled using adhesive and grouted with fugabella grout which was then sealed with grout protector.

Ensuite makeover in Thrapston

This job was undertaken because the existing shower tray was leaking due to a crack.

Removed the old tray and replaced it with one slightly bigger. After repairing the walls and cutting in a niche box. The wet area was tanked with a waterproofing coat from

Swimming pool surround in Turves.

What a job this was. At many times I was close to breaking point.

So originally the pool surround had been covered with a rubber mulch. On investigating I couldn't remove it.
So I opted to SLC over the top to give a suitable and smooth surface surface to start fixing to. I had to shutter off the pool edge with 80mm uPVC angle bead. This not only acted as a barrier to prevent the SLC flooding into the pool, but also gave a decorative edge covering the existing pool surround.

Ther was a "lounge" area within the room that was originally ply overlaid and carpeted. This was all removed and 20mm Premtool backer boards were glued to make up some height difference. Again this was then SLC'd with the rest of the areas.
Once SLC had been applied, Schlüter-Systems Ltd Dita matting was fixed all round before tiling with 900x600x20mm R13 porcelain tiles.

The pool wasn't actually square so some sneaky cutting had to be done to make "full" tiles fit.

Tiles (and matting) were fixed using UltraTile adhesive and levelled using Raimondi spin clips.
Tile edges were finished with Profilpas trims from Mapei UK Ltd
Finally grouted using Kerakoll fugabella 04 grout.

Herringbone kitchen splashback in Thorney

A crisp and clean herringbone splashback completed in Thorney using "Arabella chalk white" ceramic tiles from Wickes

After removing upstands and a glass splashback the tiles were fixed using UltraTile adhesive and grouted using Kerakoll fugalite epoxy colour kk4

Tile edges (where exposed) were trimmed using brushed chrome trim from Genesis PH

Herringbone splashback in Stamford.

Herringbone splashback tiled with plain and ribbed white ceramics from Topps Tiles
Tiles fixed using UltraTile adhesive and grouted with BAL Tiling white Micromax 3 grout.
Window and edges trimmed using an L shaped white plastic trim from Genesis PH
A new uPVC window ledge was Installed for a clean and easy to maintain ledge behind the sink.

What a fantastic end to the year!

I'm really pleased with the work I've carried out this year, it's been pretty positive. I've done some great projects and experienced a few new things. Every day is a school day as they say!

And what a way to end the year being invited to be a member of UltraTile elites club as an UltraTiler. I love using their products and to now be a member and have the support and training available to help the business grow even more in 2026!

Kitchen splashback in Peterborough

My customer chose these bright and vibrant tiles from Tile Mountain UK after having their new kitchen installed.

Tiles were fixed using UltraTile adhesives and grouted with Kerakoll fugabella 08, and a matching/coordinated silicone for the worksurface.
Window corners and edges were trimmed with brushed chrome trims from Genesis PH

Shower room tiling in Islip

En-Suite refurb tiled in my neighbouring village of Islip.

Tiled in 1200 x 600 onyx porcelain tiles on walls and floor.

Floors were over boarded with Premtool backer boards prior to fixing.
Wet area was waterproofed using Tilemaster Adhesives waterproofing kit.
These beautiful porecelain tiles were fixed using UltraTile adhesives and grouted using Kerakoll fugalite epoxy resin (colour 26) with the floor and wall joints siliconed with the closest matching colour they do.

A nice sized niche box was added to the shower area and was trimmed using Genesis PH brushes chrome tile trim.

Kitchen upstand/splashback in Desborough

After a new kitchen install the customer wanted a simple splashback of KitKat mosaics.
Fitted to form an upstand around the worksurfaces and splashback behind the cooker hob.

White kit-kat mosaics fixed with UltraTile adhesive, and trimmed with a simple white quadrant plastic trim by Genesis PH utilizing their premade corner pieces.

Grouted with Kerakoll fugabella grout 01 with added silver glitter for a touch of sparkle!

Dijon limestone floor in Twywell

15mm Dijon limestone (600mm X free lengths) supplied by Quorn Stone
This property has had a few additions over the years, so the entrance was lower than the rest of the property. Which gave me a step to semi-bullnose.
All floor areas were self levelled with Kerakoll levelflex SLC after existing floor coverings were removed, and then Schlüter-Systems Ltd Ditra matting was installed.
Stone was fixed in a random bond throughout using UltraTile adhesive before being sealed with Lithofin UK colour intensifying, impregnating sealer.
Finally grouted with kerakoll fugabella colour 20.
