Plaster has been designed to apply to walls or ceilings that have been damaged through wear and tear or damaged through removing of wall paper, water damage, or where the tapes have started to peel of the plaster board and all the screw or nail heads are starting to show in lines going down the walls or across ceilings. If you have Artex on the walls or ceilings, you can also plaster over this, saving you having to hack it off. It is applied onto the surfaces in two coats, wet on wet, it is then trowelled over the space of a few hours to remove all of the imperfection’s, until you achieve what is called a glass finish. If done properly the walls will feel smooth and will look brand new ready for painting.
Once the plastering has been completed you will never have to worry about tapes peeling or unsightly lines of nail head showing again. If looked after it will last forever. All you will have to worry about is what colour you are going to paint it. You can also wall paper or tile over it.
