Good planting design isn’t about filling a space with beautiful plants. it’s about understanding the requirements, responding to the site and creating places that people want to spend time in.

A productive day defining the stream as it translations into the pond, with carefully positioned sandstone defining the edges and creating a naturalistic flow. Subtle basin features have been integrated to retain water during lower flow periods, supporting both structure and habitat value. Plants stowed and ready to be placed to create further shelter. We finished with a behind-the-scenes tour of the nursery, taking a closer look at the work that goes into producing strong, healthy plants.
