I’m pricking out Acacia longifolia and always fascinated by what looks like a leaf growing out of a leaf !
Most acacias have modified leaf stalks called Phyllodes.
These young trees are showing the transition from pinnate leaves to flattened phyllodes. It looks like a leaf on the end of a leaf.
This adaptation helps the tree to be drought tolerant.
A small percentage of Acacias keep their feathery bipinnate leaves like Dealbata and Baileyana etc.

Orange ball tree.
We have the wonderful Buddleja globosa flowering in 2ltr pots. I’ve allowed them to get a bit leggy to flower.
Unlike the common buddleja which can be cut back hard to flower on new wood.
Globosa flowers on old wood.
These are so good for attracting pollinators.
The big flowering pots are £10.
Or I have plenty in smaller 9cm pots for
£4 each.

I’m now officially able to send plants all across the UK — my plant passport has arrived!

Every plant you see here has been lovingly propagated and nurtured by me, right here at the nursery. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, these aren’t just plants — they’re the result of years of care, knowledge, and a genuine passion for growing.

Unlike many online shops, these aren’t bought in wholesale and resold. You’re getting plants straight from the grower.

I’m starting small with a carefully chosen selection of plants in 9cm pots while I get to grips with this new online adventure.
Over the coming weeks and months the selection will increase as the plants become ready for sale, with regular posts of new availability.

These plants are available for collection at the nursery too, without the p&p.
