This mini has a few more details to it, which I really enjoyed painting and felt it gave more of a feel of how the rest of the infantry will go for the Stalingrad project I have slowly been chipping away at.

This mini is part of a Stalingrad project I have slowly been chipping away at behind the scenes, but I’m looking forward to giving it a good go in the coming months. But, for now, here’s the first Wehrmacht mini I’ve painted. Stay tuned for more!

Rest in Peace John Blanche, you live on through the art you created.

It’s really hard to put into words the impact John’s art has had on the hobby and as a result, every hobbyist out there.
Seeing his work as a teen was inspiring and everytime I see it, it pulls me back into the feelings of awe and wonderment his grimdark work portrayed.

This is the book that started it all and it absolutely hooked me into the 40K universe as a child and for that, I am forever grateful.
