Prepping and corrections, second bedroom bedroom, day 1.

First few are before the Mirka and skim fills. Ceiling tomorrow. Already sanded, hassle cracks from blown jointing tape. I'll get some new stuff on and blend in.

New project, update two bedrooms and a hallway.

Bedroom 1 needs old style paper removal, prep and repaint walls and trim. Dulux diamond matt is the choice as in the Hallway. White satin for the trim.

Bedroom 2 needs alot of prep to correct bad plastering on the facing wall and the ceiling needs attention and larger profilecoving.
Paint choice is Farrow and Ball no.27 Parma Gray. Trim in white satin.

Happy customers no.2. Polperro job....

From rotten and flaky to nice nice! Customer was advised on areas the needed replacement due to extensive rotten that the price of resin fillets would outweigh.

This was a tricky one due to access and public but it's done so I'm happy .

On to the next then....

Home straight, getting to final bits and bobs. Just some glossing and wood touch ups left.
Client and his wife are very pleased which is always nice. There was alot more work than could be seen from the ground but it's looking tidy now.

20 ft up the ladder dealing with flaking and failed gloss. Unnerving but went well using the new Little Giant Conquest Pro.

Sanded and wire brushed with an angle grinder and brass brush then undercoat with Zinsser Coverstain tinted to Oxford Blue. Saves waiting 16 hrs for undercoat to dry!

Long and tiring day, the ladder weighs 60 pounds so I'm weight training while I work!! 😆 🤣

Another one completed over in Tregonhawk. Lovely little holiday let with lovely views. Interior done and Exterior walls given a quick refresh along with the furniture. All ready for guests.

Interior walls in Durable Matt with Eggshell on the wood and panelling on the ceiling.
A big thank you to my client for the repeat custom.

Next is a cottage by the harbour in Polperro..
