As a local family run business it is very difficult to compete with larger companies/franchises who spend £1000 in advertising costs and it is getting even harder with Facebook as they aren’t showing as many adverts unless your paying.

You may have seen Local Government Reorganisation in the news. The Government’s plans are likely to impact all councils in England.

They have written to us, to formally invite us to work with other council leaders in Devon to develop a proposal for local government reorganisation.

They would like initial ideas by Friday 21 March 2025.

We wanted to make sure you hear about what the Government has asked us to do.

We would like to invite you to a public meeting on Tuesday 11 March at The Princess Theatre in Torquay. The event starts at 6pm.

At this free engagement event Council Leader David Thomas and senior officers will help explain what government has asked, some of Torbay's options, and the timelines that have been laid out. There will of course be a chance to ask questions.

The event is free and doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
