I hope this post dosnt break community guild lines, it’s top shelf filth, viewer discretion is advised ⛔️

Showing my age but love it when a plan comes together ❤️, at this self build we installed the complete package, DPM, insulation, UFH and screed throughout all three floors.

Ground floor had 175mm PIR and 50mm screed, the uppers had Giacomini UK LTD - Leaders In Hydronics🕷️ panel, such a robust system for first floors, check out how the screed migrates throughout the pipework / panel encapsulating the whole system, this provides no pockets of air like traditional castlated plates and certainly aids overall strength of the floor construction 💪🏽.

The screed of choice was Cemfloor by McGraths it’s important to note when using this screed joints must be incorporated, simple process and aided by TekGroup with their tekcem control joint, in addition all windows / doors were installed and poly applied to potential high solar gain areas, the 420m2 pour was a breeze 👌🏽

Now here’s something to chase away those January blues ……..

How can this not put a smile on your face 😍, we're delivering the complete package of ground-floor Ufh and screeding, first-floor Ufh and ASHP installation to 5 plots at Greenaway Lane in Warsash Hants.

All plots are self-builds and DUO will be providing the MCS accreditation with our partners Unitherm Heating Systems Ltd providing the complete concept to commission solution 💪🏽

I'm a big advocate of UFH on the first floors, feels great when you step out of bed on a cold winters morning, the issue has always been height, well thanks to Craig Parker and his team this is the solution 💡

This low-build system is only 18mm thick, 12mm baseboard and a 6mm topping board to encapsulate the pipes, the topping layer is covered in foil which surrounds the pipe as it's pressed and screwed into place 🙌🏽

This is such a fantastic solution, covering the complete area and providing a robust and sturdy base for the floor coverings to be applied directly above, the piece-de-resistance is identifying where the pipes are located in the floor from the topping board layout 💪🏽

Developers take note, this is how to install UFH on the first floors with little impact on the heights and ensure maximum performance of the system, you'll see plenty more projects from DUO using this system throughout 2024 👊🏽👊🏽

Step one is completed at the Brackelsham Bay plots 💪🏽

These houses will have the full DUO offering, starting with DPM, insulation and Ufh, all Dynamically Balanced of course 👌🏽

The Screeding team is commencing this morning, providing a 75mm standard sand cement reinforced fibre screed, after a few days the rest of the site team will be back on the floors.

The next phase will be DUO installing the ASHP’s to each property, benefitting from LG Therma V r32 monoblocks, we've found the plug-and-play capabilities of these units a godsend when commissioning. 💡

A complete fully encompassed service is our standard offering on the vast majority of projects delivered, we believe one of the most important aspects is how we hand over the systems directly to the end user, DUO returns to take this hassle away from the developer, we've designed, installed, tested and commissioned the system so undoubtedly best placed to be the point of contact in the future 🙌🏽🙌🏽.

Loving the versatility of Giacomini UK Ltd spider panel 🕷️, its our go to solution for low build construction and performs exceptionally every time 👌🏽

We're also using Cellecta Ltd HD10, meticulously installed fully tapped and acoustic sealed to provide the impact and airborne requirements.

Due to a low floor depth, we are installing a Retonal xtream screed above of which the spider panel does a fantastic job of providing added reinforcement 💪🏽

Using 🕷️ to protect the pipework from the screed hoses too, just makes the Ufh a bit more encapsulated and easier to cope with traffic, there are over 100 apartments on this project so it has to be robust.

To top it all off, we have the heart of all our systems, a dynamically balanced manifold ❤️, energy saving is always at the forefront of our installations, that's why DUO is the ONLY UFH company on the south coast using DB manifolds as standard, never compromise on quality 👊🏽

All that’s remains is final commission and individual client handovers at these 5 luxury homes in Earnley.

DUO provided the complete solution from DPM, insulation, UFH and controls. Using screed on the ground floors with floating floor systems incorporating UFH throughout the first floors 🙌🏽

Adoption of first floor UFH should be standard throughout all new homes, there are many methods to choose from and DUO can offer various solutions to suit all build requirements, floating floors are a particular favourite and we ❤️ the mojave system from Cellecta Ltd

Combining UFH, ASHP and especially Giacomini UK Ltd dynamic balancing manifolds means the energy performance of each dwelling is maximised 💪🏽.

Fantastic progress at our project in Stockbridge, 3 luxury houses benefiting from the full DUO service of DPM, insulation, Ufh, screed and to optimise energy the ASHP installation too💪🏽.

All floors have Ufh, the screed on the upper levels are Gypsol, our Giacomini UK Ltd spider system is the perfect combination for low-build upper floors, love how the screed migrates and encapsulates the pipework 🙌🏽.

When you find a lovely warm spot on a cold and frosty day 🥶🔥🔥 Hugo loves our DUO underfloor heating system especially on cold days like to today when he’s been subjected to a bath!

And that's a wrap 💪🏽

120,000 lm of pipe and 195 manifolds were installed throughout these care homes, creating a sustainable and comfortable living environment focusing on energy reduction.

DUO provided the total flooring solution from the dampproof course, various insulation layers, acoustic insulation and of course the screed topping 👊🏽

A combination of screed was installed to suit the differing heights of the camber, some standard and some enhanced, using sand cement does give you great flexibility to treat areas in isolation.

We sleep safe in the Knowledge that energy reduction is at the forefront of our installation, providing dynamic balancing manifolds provides this legacy of energy reduction for the tenants, now don't get me wrong we could have purchased a bulk buy, a cheap container full of manifolds from the far east but that's fit and forget, I'm proud we focus on the operation of the system and not just making a quick buck🫰🏽

Already looking forward to the next care homes starting in the new year 🫶🏽
