Amazing achievement by the Thomas Vaughan and friends  team. The aim was to climb the Welsh 3 peaks  with 180 litres of simulated blood carried across the 3 peaks. This is to represent the amount of blood healthy kidneys process in 24 hours.  Target was well achieved.

So whilst I'm still working my way through my morning cuppa, take a look at this lot, up early and the top of Snowden / Yr Wyddfa with 50L of the 180 that they are carrying across all three peaks to represent the amount of blood healthy kidneys process in 24 hours.

And so the adventure begins!

Good luck to.the team of friends, family and colleagues who are on Saturday 17th May 2025, taking on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge, with a difference:
They are carrying a total of 180 litres of red coloured water ('blood') across the three summits, symbolising the amount of blood healthy kidneys process each day. This is all in aid of Kidney Research UK, a charity very close to our hearts.
