That dreaded word! Damp left untreated can cause untold damage to your property,and if mold occurs can cause mild health issues!

On this particular job this old solid wall, built in 1923, has experienced a lot of water pe*******on through the outside render after a lintel change. subsequently this has pushed the natural salts from the bricks and mortar through to the inside of the wall.

With help from the Hey'di tanking system from Sovreign, we have managed to not only stop the salts from pushing through but added a well needed moister barrier from any further moisture that finds its way through.

Before and after! A bathroom repair in Tring High street. This property was built circa 1890's so there were more than a few hidden surprises.
Like with any old property is it all about the preparation, due to different renovations and materials used over the years getting a finish that looks good but also performs can be tricky.

A good job done and ready for the bathroom fitter.
